Is it Spring Yet?
March typically marks the start of spring, but it doesn’t always feel that way at Deep Creek Lake. Some years, the temperatures may warm up, and the snow starts to melt, but we can also get more winter. Ideally, for most of us, the beginning of the month would offer a last chance to take advantage of winter sports, as it likely will this year, and the end would usher in a shift as winter slows down and spring begins to take over.
But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t visit the lake. March can be a great month to enjoy the area.
